Yet another Little Owl in trouble…
Telephone call from Lily at The Suffolk Punch Trust in Hollesley yesterday saw me making a trip out there to collect a Little Owl chick in need of help. He was found by the fence line with no sign of parents or siblings and a number of crows threatening to attack. Lily kindly placed Hollesley in a bucket filled with straw and kept him in the staff room for safety. Cute little guy, similar age wise to my existing four but slotting in between the littlest, Pattiswick, and Honnington. Has been totally accepted as part of the clan overnight and spent the day today in the Aviary exploring and then cuddled
up with Pattiswick. Bless…
