Update on Kestrel Barking…
Visited my Vet, Robert Lees at Linkswood Veterinary Centre, on Tuesday morning with the injured juvenile Kestrel. The bird was dragging her left leg behind her so could only imagine an injury to the hip or pelvis. Once Robert examined her, we took XRays to see exactly what was going on and, sadly, she had a fractured pelvis which meant she had to be euthenized. At least she was out of pain and with a full stomach, I held her as she gently went to sleep….
