Sad news…. Unfortunately the Buzzard with the badly injured eye passed away. His injuries were very severe and his whole attitude the next morning was that he was giving up. Once this happens, there is very little that you can do apart from keep them comfortable and pain free, which is exactly where we were with him. He would probably not have made a full recovery as, when we checked him over after his demise, the actual eye socket was fractured and there was still a lot of pus in the swelling under the eye. Sorry Wethersfield but I did all I could for you and you died with a full tummy, in the warm, and wrapped in a soft blanket…
