Ringing Day for Tawny Owls Gosfield Two and Stisted…
Adult Tawny Owls Gosfield Two and Stisted also received their British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) rings today, in preparation for them going to the Pre-Release Aviary with Bures next week. It was confirmed that Gosfield Two is a female and Stisted a male. Gosfield Two decided that if she kept her eyes tightly closed, we did not exist! Bures has recovered well from his operation and already has his BTO ring, so all are ready to go back to the wild after a short spell in the Pre-Release Aviary.
